The Challenge

Halfpennys Lawyers is one of Darwin’s oldest law firms. Richard Henschke, co-principal of Halfpennys Lawyers is a respected practitioner in commercial law, adoption, and wills and estate planning and has been practicing law for more than 43 years, forty-one of which has been in Darwin.

After years of self-managing the firm’s vast records archive, Richard and his staff became frustrated as the business grew and their active file volumes became increasingly challenging to keep in order. Halfpennys decided to engage an Information Management provider in Darwin hoping to ease the day-to-day stress and frustration of managing an ever-growing active file and document archive.

Sadly, over time this arrangement revealed a service provider who was not responsive. Something needed to be done, and Richard decided to contact TIMG to discuss his situation. Close enough was no longer good enough for Richard.

We set up a document storage and retrieval solution that has gone on to free up the Halfpennys team while enhancing their compliance and security strategy in relation to the storage of confidential client records.
