DESCRIPTION

The HP LTO8 Ultrium Cartridge is designed to be used in all HPE LTO8 Ultrium 8 tape drives and libraries. Further more, this cartridge is suitable for read and write use in all brands of LTO8 or LTO Ultrium 8 tape drives and tape libraries.

SPECIFICATIONS

• The HPE LTO-8 Ultrium tape has an uncompressed capacity of up to 12TB of data 
• This LTO-8 will hold up to 30TB of data at speeds up to 900MB/sec of compressed capacity
• The HPE LTO 8 cartridge uses the latest recording technology Barium Ferrite, (BaFe) for improved reliability, longevity and density
• Drives that use the HPE LTO-8 tape are advised to use the HP LTO Ultrium Universal Cleaning Cartridge to keep the drive clean
