DESCRIPTION

The LTO-6 Ultrium RW MP Data Cartridge is made using Metal Particle (MP). This means, the  magnetic material used on the recording surface for all LTO tapes up to LTO6 is suitable for read and write in all LTO6 Ultrium 6 tape drives. This LTO 6 tape is also suitable for read and write in LTO7 Ultrium 7 tape drives. However, it cannot be read or written to in all LTO8 Ultrium 8 tape drives.

SPECIFICATIONS

• The HP LTO Ultrium 6 Data Tape 2.5TB/6.25TB has an uncompressed capacity of 2.5TB.
• This tape can also hold up to 6.25TB of compressed data.
• The HPE LTO6 tape has undergone extreme environmental, drop, shock, and vibration testing. This tape therefore, has an HPE guaranteed archival life of 30 years.
• The HPE LTO6 tape usage is defined as 1,000,000 passes or 260 full tape backups.
