LitSupport joins forces with Lexdata to maximise service offerings for clients nationally
Effective from 1st July 2016, the acquisition of Lexdata will add another dimension to LitSupport and deliver clients in the legal industry sector broader access to support services and expertise in information management through parent company TIMG.
“Lexdata and LitSupport joining forces makes perfect sense. We both have a proven track record working in the legal space and a culture of delivering high value to our clients.  Like us, Lexdata has a strong relationship with their clients and we will work with them to continue developing these ties for our mutual benefits.
It makes sense to combine our operations and broaden our service offerings, especially in the ACT. Now we can provide further legal and information management support services for government and corporate departments as well.  This is a very exciting time for us, and our clients will reap the rewards especially those with national offices” said  Brad Gabriel, General Manager for LitSupport.
“After 19 years in business, we feel that the time is right to combine our strengths with those of LitSupport enabling the delivery of a wider range of services and expertise.  We thank our clients for their continued loyalty and support. We’re very much looking forward to the future and working with LitSupport to deliver greater benefits for the industry” said Ajnesh Ram, General Manager for Lexdata.
With specialist skill sets and systems and processes to deal with evidentiary material, the combined companies can deliver a wide range of litigation support and document management services to law firms, government departments and corporations.
Established in 1997, Lexdata offered litigation support services to top tier law firms in Sydney and later added bureaus in Canberra and Perth. The company has developed an extensive bank of legal knowledge which is a valuable asset for LitSupport.Â
LitSupport is perfectly positioned to optimise this additional expertise and the synergies created through the acquisition of Lexdata. With the additional support of TIMG to provide expertise in ebusiness and data management, LitSupport can offer a comprehensive suite of services and innovative solutions for the legal industry.
TIMG is a leading provider of information management solutions with offices throughout Australia and backed by the strength and heritage of Freightways, a dominant force in New Zealand with origins dating back to 1964.
