LitSupport Further Expands Services Following Acquisition
LitSupport is broadening its services in the legal space through the acquisition of Confidential Document Solutions (CDS), a privately owned Brisbane based business.
CDS was established nearly 10 years ago by brothers Tim Hall and Malcolm Hall, together with Michael Wrobel, and provides secure and confidential copy, print and scanning services to clients in Brisbane.
The acquisition of CDS will add density to the current LitSupport operation in Brisbane.
The purchase will also expand LitSupport’s offering beyond the legal vertical market with 50% of CDS’ revenue derived from secure ‘commercial print’.
LitSupport’s General Manager Brad Gabriel said ‘the acquisition makes LitSupport a bigger and stronger business.’
‘CDS is an ideal fit with LitSupport, adding volume and new customer relationships to the current LitSupport operation in Brisbane.’
‘The client base of law firms fits the profile of LitSupport’s service offering, including our eDiscovery services.’
‘LitSupport will continue to focus and build on its core legal support services business, retaining its principles, values and commitment to service delivery that has earned us our reputation as Australia’s most reliable legal support services provider’, Gabriel said.
Former directors Tim and Malcolm Hall, and Malcolm Wrobel will stay on as key employees and will continue to play active roles in the LitSupport business.
LitSupport will retain the CDS name, and the CDS commercial print business will operate as a division of LitSupport.
‘It will be business as usual’, Gabriel said. ‘The key employees have good knowledge of the industry and local market and have strong relationships with their customers.’
‘Both LitSupport and CDS have run very efficient operations and will find synergies in office space and administration, the best aspects of both companies being leveraged to deliver improved services and economies to our clients. This acquisition simply complements our existing suite of services.’
‘Clients working with a single supplier for all their document management requirements will also lead to better value and reduced risk.’
