Enhanced Legal Service Excellence through Lexdata Acquisition
TIMG is delighted to announce a significant expansion in its delivery of legal service excellence through the acquisition of Lexdata, effective 1 July 2016. Lexdata joins forces with LitSupport under the TIMG umbrella to deliver clients in the legal industry broader access to support services and expertise in information management.
LitSupport will take over Lexdata's litigation support services, while TIMG will handle Lexdata's digitisation and scanning services, integrating them into our own comparable offerings. These added service dimensions will provide LitSupport and TIMG clients with augmented specialist skill sets and in-depth processes to manage evidentiary material. The combined companies will deliver a wide range of litigation support and document management services to legal firms.
"Lexdata and LitSupport joining forces makes perfect sense. We both have a proven track record working in the legal space and a culture of delivering high value to our clients. Like us, Lexdata has a strong relationship with their clients and we will work with them to continue developing these ties for our mutual benefit.
"It makes sense to combine our operations and broaden our service offerings, especially in the ACT. Now we can provide further legal and information management support services for government and corporate departments as well. This is a very exciting time for us, and our clients will reap the rewards especially those with national offices," said Brad Gabriel, General Manager for LitSupport.
"After 19 years in business, we feel that the time is right to combine our strengths with those of LitSupport enabling the delivery of a wider range of services and expertise. We thank our clients for their continued loyalty and support. We're very much looking forward to the future and working with LitSupport to deliver greater benefits for the industry," said Ajnesh Ram, General Manager for Lexdata.
Established in 1997, Lexdata offered litigation support services to top tier law firms in Sydney and later added bureaus in Canberra and Perth. The company has developed an extensive bank of legal knowledge which is a valuable asset.
LitSupport is perfectly positioned to optimise this additional expertise and the synergies created through the acquisition of Lexdata. With the additional support of TIMG to provide expertise in eBusiness and data management, LitSupport can offer a comprehensive suite of services and innovative solutions for the legal industry.
